I create pieces of art about myself, nature, and the human mind and body. They are all connected, and consequently are connected in my work. I love working with light and shadow, texture, and pattern.
I grew up in central Maryland, and graduated from Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute in 2015 with a BFA in drawing and painting. My experience with mental illness inspires me to make art, and I also do commissions of pets, humans, and landscapes. In 2020 I moved to Chicago, where I spend my time going on walks and volunteering.
I enjoy live music, snails, guitar, herbal tea, poetry, cephalopods, floral prints, bodies of water, hydrangeas, socks with fun patterns, and cats.
